Project Overview:
The expansion and enhancement of services at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital over the years has greatly impacted Shore residents options and care. With multiple new departments and ancillary services this transitional period has created many new opportunities and diversification within the system. Structureworks was able to be a part of this process by helping to finish the exterior of the hospital with a low-maintenance Trex Pergola that mimics the building’s contemporary architectural detail providing a shady respite away from the fast paced, bustling environment inside.
Challenge:
Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital was looking for a large, low-maintenance structure that would enhance the architectural look of the building and provide a shady retreat for hospital staff and guests to relax outdoors. Structureworks addressed the following challenges:

Structureworks and Ocean Drywall, Inc. worked together to create a shade structure that would enhance the exterior of the hospital with visually similar detail. Staff and patients now have the option to enjoy time in the sun or, if heat is a concern, there can be plenty of seating beneath the structure for seasonal enjoyment.

Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital has grown to meet the demands of the community with a state-of-the-art Emergency Department, Intensive Care unit and other important departments and ancillary services. This has helped the hospital create new opportunities by expanding and enhancing services to Shore residents.
