Structureworks is proud to announce a new project for the Explore Palm Desert Community by Del Webb. Located in Palm Desert, California, this new community features thoughtfully designed, high-quality homes with state-of-the-art amenities. Structureworks has been awarded a contract to design, engineer, and manufacture five custom aluminum shade structures for installation by Lion Hopper Specialties, our installation partner.
Through this partnership, Structureworks will be providing much-needed shade and protection from the harsh California sun for community members. These structures will provide elegant shade to key spaces throughout the Explore Palm Desert Recreation Center.

These custom aluminum structures with HDPE canopies are built to last a lifetime with minimal maintenance, making them perfect for withstanding Palm Desert’s dry, hot summers. These five aluminum structures feature our premium powder-coat finish to keep them protected from the elements and looking great.
Comfortable Shade for Community Members
In the Palm Desert heat, shade is what makes outdoor recreation possible for most of the year. These five aluminum structures will cover the community’s recreation spaces, giving residents a cool place to pause between laps at the pool or sets on the tennis court. The structures withstand the intense desert sun and remain low-maintenance season after season, keeping the spaces usable and inviting.
