Structureworks is excited to announce a new project with OCVibe, a spectacular outdoor destination update in Orange County, CA. The OCVibe development plans redefine downtown Orange County with new shops, offices, dining, entertainment, and a renovated Honda Center. As part of this development, Structureworks has been awarded a project to design, engineer, and manufacture 8 Custom Aluminum Structures for installation at the Honda Center in 2026.
Through this partnership Structureworks will be providing enhanced outdoor comfort, and a unique architectural twist, at the Honda Center. Unique custom shade structures with vibrant canopy fabrics will create comfortable and stunning outdoor spaces on the promenade of the arena. Event attendees will enjoy pregame festivities, outdoor dining, and other activities under the comprehensive shade solutions provided by Structureworks.

These custom aluminum structures are built to last a lifetime with minimal maintenance, making them perfect to stand out in the California sun. The aluminum structures feature a premium powder coat finish, to match existing architecture while maintaining a gorgeous look throughout the district. The structures will also feature custom canopies to protect attendees from the elements.
Enhancing Architectural Interest
Beyond their functional benefits, the custom shade structures will add a unique architectural interest to the exterior of the Honda Center. Each structure has been thoughtfully designed with multi-colored horizontal and vertical fabric canopies, creating defined spaces that add visual depth and character. The multi-colored approach will serve to complement the vibrant renovation of the Honda Center, and OCVibe as a whole.
